Every service has a Biblical Sermon preached. This varies in length, but is always evangelical in nature. We believe that the Holy Scriptures of the Old and New Testament are the Word of God, indeed, the very oracles of God, and should be the sole rule for our Christian faith and practice.

Our church, doctrinally, adheres to the Doctrines of Grace (sometimes called the '5 points of Calvinism'), to the 39 Articles & to the 15 Articles of the CoH Connexion. We are Evangelical, Reformed & Protestant by conviction.

OUR WORSHIP

The majority of our services use the  Free Church of England Prayer Book for our liturgy. We use a variety of hymnbooks, choosing a variety of styles of hymns, old and new, but always seeking to retain dignity in our worship.

For communion we hold that all... Christians who love our Lord Jesus Christ in sincerity are affectionately invited to the Lord's Table'. We do insist however, that visitors who wish to receive communion should be communicants in their own churches.

The Service may be lead by our Minister or by our Lay reader.
